Board the train to the Emerald City this week in this theatrical celebration of Wicked! Scholars of Dear Old Shiz explore the music and magic of the story, learning to make their character as popular as possible. Singing, dancing, acting, make this the most swankified camp ever. “Until you try, you’ll never know!”

This program is designed for all scholars—whether you dream of performing onstage, simply want a fun way to make new friends, or both! This class is perfect for scholars who want to try something new, get creative, and have a blast—whether it is their first theatre class or their fiftieth!

What You Will Learn

  • Learn and perform a variety of musical pieces, staged scenes, and choreographed numbers

  • Vocabulary and skills related to the body, voice, imagination, and concentration

  • The ability to use musicianship as a tool creating characters and telling stories through dance and vocal music

What to Expect: This week consists of music, acting, dance/movement, and theatre games.

What to Bring

  • Scholars should bring a water bottle

  • Non-perishable lunch each day.

Presentation Day: A culminating final presentation for friends and family on the last day of camp at 2pm.
