THE EXPERIENCE

An education that prepares scholars for any future.

9th–12th grade at One School is built on a simple belief: the future belongs to scholars who can think, create, and lead — not just test well. We equip scholars with the academic foundation colleges expect and the real-world skills that set them apart, through Project-Based and Challenge-Based Learning woven into everything they do.

Character & Whole-Person Development

Character and leadership development, self-expression, mentoring, and service experiences are woven into the high school program — shaping scholars who graduate not just prepared academically, but grounded in who they are and ready to contribute to the world around them.

Project-Based & Experiential Learning

Quarterly hands-on projects, collaborative classroom experiences, multiple intelligence learning approaches, and immersive class trips bring curriculum to life — giving scholars creative outlets and real-world context for everything they study.

College & Career Readiness

Every scholar benefits from 1:1 college and career coaching, college prep meetings, college tours, and attentive academic plans built around their individual trajectory. Varied assessment tools and essential skills education — from personal finance to networking — ensure scholars are ready for whatever comes after graduation.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

A few of the things families ask most often. Don't see yours? Reach out — we'd love to talk.

  • Every high school scholar receives 1:1 college and career coaching, participates in college tours, attends college prep meetings, and works from an attentive academic plan built around their individual goals. We also equip scholars with the core disciplinary knowledge needed to matriculate confidently into traditional colleges and universities — alongside robust elective experiences that position them for unique post-secondary opportunities.

  • Rather than lecture-only instruction, our scholars engage in dynamic monthly projects rooted in PBL and Challenge-Based Learning. Scholars tackle real-world problems, collaborate with peers, and develop critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills in the context of doing meaningful work — not just preparing for tests.

  • High school scholars have access to varied elective offerings that span creative outlets, self-expression, and practical skills — including fine arts, marketing, personal finance, and biblical entrepreneurship and leadership. These are intentionally designed to complement core academics and prepare scholars for a wide range of post-secondary paths.

  • Character and leadership aren't extracurricular at One School — they're core to the high school experience. Through mentoring, service experiences, self-expression opportunities, and leadership development woven into the academic program, scholars graduate as whole people: academically sharp, spiritually grounded, and ready to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
