How do I apply to OSOTA

  • To apply go to http://oneschool.net/enrollment/#process and follow the steps in order.

Does OSOTA offer tuition assistance or accept any state-funded scholarships?

  • OSOTA does have a limited amount of tuition assistance available through application after a child has been accepted to the school.

  • OSOTA accepts the Step Up for Students (SUFS) and McKay Scholarships that are administered by the State of Florida.

  • We are not a VPK provider.

Does OSOTA offer school tours?

  • Yes! We are available for tours on most days, but you must register before the tour.

Do OSOTA scholars wear uniforms?

  • Yes! OSOTA scholars wear uniforms that can be purchased through our Uniform Store.  If you have any questions regarding uniforms, please contact Ryan Frye at rfrye@oneschool.net

  • OSOTA also offers gently used uniforms for sale through the PTA. You can contact our PTA Coordinator Ava Polozola at givenhimglory@hotmail.com for more details. 

 

I understand that OSOTA is a paperless school. What are the best ways to stay updated with school events and my scholar's academic progress?

  • OSOTA's goal is to cut paper use drastically. Switching over to electronic communication not only helps to save on costs but it also teaches our scholars how to apply the benefits of technology to their academic experience. 

  • There are several learning and management platforms that your scholar uses on a daily basis. We also encourage parents to take advantage of the parent accounts on these sites. Click here for quick links and additional information. 

  • Stay connected with school announcements, view current pictures and watch videos by following us on  FaceBook and Twitter.

What do I need to provide for my child to participate in Orchestra/Band?

  • OSOTA is collaborating with Music & Arts for our instrument rental and music supplies. 
    The Sanford Music & Arts location : 1673 WP Ball Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771 | 407-321-4750

  • Music & Arts' rental program is affordable and designed with 2 months of free rental so that each scholar can play test any instrument risk free to parents. If you do decide to rent an instrument, your monthly payments can go towards the cost of purchasing the instrument for those who would like to own theirs.

  • Parents are not obligated to use Music & Arts company for instrument rentals. You are welcome to rent or purchase your scholar's instrument from anywhere.

Does OSOTA offer After-School Programs?

  • Yes! OSOTA offers a variety of After School Enrichment (ASE) Programs. Click here to view and join.

 

What important information should I know about dropping off and picking up my child?

  • For the safety of our Scholars, drivers must refrain from cell phone use while in car line.

  •  All cars in the afternoon carline (pick-up) will be required to have their windows down and a pick up card on the dash board with their scholar(s) name clearly stated. 

  • Anyone who does not have a pick up card will have to park and present ID to the front office to receive one. 

Morning Drop Off Locations:

  • K - 2nd grade are to be dropped off at the Church Entrance. There are Safety Patrols and Teachers there to help scholars get to class. 
  • 3rd graders and up are to be dropped off at the school's entrance.

Afternoon Drop Off Locations:

  • Elementary pick up time is at 3:30pm at the school's normal entrance.
  • Middle and High School pick up time is at 3:45pm at the school's normal entrance.

 

Does OSOTA offer After-School Care?

  • Yes! OSOTA provides an incredibly affordable after-school care (ASC) program. Scholars will have time for homework and time at the playground.

  • ASC is available Monday-Fridays from 3:30pm until 6pm for $10 a day.

  • Beginning at 6:01pm, parents are automatically charged an additional $15 late fee for every fifteen minutes past 6pm. Please call Spencer Johnson at 407-432-5918 if you are running late or are sending someone that is not on the pickup list.
