We want to spread the word that we all are PTF: a creative network of parents, teachers, and administration. To keep it simple: #iamptf is our way of communicating that everyone is and can be a part of our mission to:

Kindergarten Boo Hoo Breakfast 2016 -2017

Kindergarten Boo Hoo Breakfast 2016 -2017

  • To support excellence in the wonder of education for scholars at One School of the Arts
  • To enhance communication among parents, faculty and administration.
  • To encourage and stimulate parental participation in the community of One School of the Arts.

Each family enrolled at One School of the Arts is a member of the PTF.  Our private Christian school offers significant opportunities for parents to make a difference in their children’s educational environment. For more information about One School’s PTF, please contact ptf@oneschool.net

Note: Each family is required to donate 20 hours throughout the school year, serving in whatever capacity they find the most fulfillment. Should your schedule not permit volunteering, in lieu of service hours a $225 payment to the PTF can be made.

One School of the Arts' PTF is dedicated to empowering parents and teachers to make a difference in the education, health, and safety of our scholars.  Stay updated with events, fundraisers and school news by attending our quarterly meetings and volunteering.

Meet our PTF President

Lisa Moore | PTF President

Lisa Moore | PTF President

Mrs. Lisa Moore returns as president for the 2017-2018 school year, and we are excited to have her leading a dynamic team. PTF is open to all families. Our scholars are great because their parents and teachers support them in their dreams and desires to make the world a better place. We are grateful to our parents who lead by example making a priceless contribution to our school through their volunteer hours.

Room Parent Opportunities:

Room Parents provide an invaluable service to the school.
In addition to coordinating/overseeing class parties and events, a Room Parent is the main source of communication between the PTF's RP Coordinator, your teacher, and the parents in your class.
You will be invited to attend an orientation meeting at the beginning of the school year where you will receive an overview of the Room Parent role and meet the OSOTA Room Parent Coordinators.

A summary of the duties is noted below for your reference.
(Keep in mind, if you have a friend in the class, or know another great parent to team up with-- there doesn't have to be just one of you per class. Also counts toward your 20hours!).

  • create/obtain a class roster for volunteer use (Email/contact info)
  • create/ distribute/forward your classroom's volunteer schedule (often through Sign Up Genius)
  • coordinate/delegate classroom parties and events
  • support school events throughout the year by communicating event details and soliciting volunteers when needed
  • forward on school news on occasion
  • gathering contributions/forwarding out a reminder to honor teacher's birthday

"Box Tops for Education"

Buy products that participate in the Box Top program, clip the box top coupon, and send it with your child. We would like to encourage each family to sign up on the Box Tops for Educations website at www.boxtops4education.com. By signing up you are able to enter a monthly drawing for bonus box tops awards to our school. "Labels for Education"

Along with Campbell's soups and Pepperidge Farms there are a number of other products that have the "Labels for Education" label on them. Our goal this year is to collect 25,000 points that we can redeem for arts and athletics. It’s easy to help – simply save UPCs and beverage/sauce caps from participating products and drop them off at One School of the Arts. Send in the appropriate portion of the label to your child's teacher and we will collect them from their classrooms.
If you have any questions, or would like to help with our Labels for Education collection drive, please contact Labels for Education coordinator: Karla Wilson at 352.219.2011 or via email at kwidstudio@gmail.com.
