One School of the Arts' PTF is dedicated to empowering parents and teachers to make a difference in the education, health, and safety of our scholars.  Stay updated with events, fundraisers and school news by attending our quarterly meetings and volunteering.

Don't Miss Out on Good News.

OSOTA | Parent Teacher Fellowship

Note: Each family is required to donate 20 hours throughout the school year, serving in whatever capacity they find the most fulfillment. Should your schedule not permit volunteering, in lieu of service hours a $225 payment to the PTF can be made.

One School Parent Teacher Fellowship welcomes a new president this year, and we are excited to have her leading a dynamic team. PTF is open to all families. Our scholars are great because their parents and teachers support them in their dreams and desires to make the world a better place. We are grateful to our parents who lead by example making a priceless contribution to our school through their volunteer hours.

From the Scholastic Book Fair, Boosterthon, Christmas Shop to our Faculty Appreciation Luncheon our PTF finds many unique ways to make our scholars and school shine. It is your opportunity as a parent to be involved. As a PTF officer, a parent can even become a part of our school leadership team.

Room Parents Wanted!

Room Parents provide an invaluable service to the school.
In addition to coordinating/overseeing class parties and events, a Room Parent is the main source of communication between the PTF's RP Coordinator, your teacher, and the parents in your class.
You will be invited to attend an orientation meeting at the beginning of the school year where you will receive an overview of the Room Parent role and meet the OSOTA Room Parent Coordinators: Kim Amee and Mari Trujillo.
A summary of the duties is noted below for your reference.
(Keep in mind, if you have a friend in the class, or know another great parent to team up with-- there doesn't have to be just one of you per class. Also counts toward your 20hours!).

The following are year-round fundraisers. They are very easy and something each and every one of us can participate in with very little effort.

"Box Tops for Education"

Buy products that participate in the Box Top program, clip the box top coupon, and send it with your child. We would like to encourage each family to sign up on the Box Tops for Educations website at www.boxtops4education.com. By signing up you are able to enter a monthly drawing for bonus box tops awards to our school. In addition, you will have access to printable money saving coupons, fun and unique recipes and project ideas.

"MyCokeRewards" Program

Purchase Coke products (Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dasani, Powerade, Fanta, Barq's Rootbeer, Fresca, Pibb, Mellow Yellow and Nestea) and save the points. You can directly enter codes on the MyCokeRewards website and donate them to the school or send in your points and we will enter them for you.

"Target Debit Card"

Get a Target debit or credit card on line at Target.com or in local store. Go online to Target Take Charge of Education and link your card to The One School of the Arts ID# 110623. For every dollar you spend, OSOTA gets 1%

300labels.png

"Labels for Education"

Along with Campbell's soups and Pepperidge Farms there are a number of other products that have the "Labels for Education" label on them. Our goal this year is to collect 25,000 points that we can redeem for arts and athletics. It’s easy to help – simply save UPCs and beverage/sauce caps from participating products and drop them off at One School of the Arts. Send in the appropriate portion of the label to your child's teacher and we will collect them from their classrooms.
If you have any questions, or would like to help with our Labels for Education collection drive, please contact Labels for Education coordinator: Karla Wilson at 352.219.2011 or via email at kwidstudio@gmail.com.
